Taxes rates may go down

Property taxes could increase if a bond and levy for Spokane Public Schools passes March 10; however, as noted in a Wednesday story, it’s possible that tax rates could be lower than those approved, as has been the case in the past.

Firm says handle’s better

Lloyd Industries says the company has strengthened the handle attachment on its ManPan woks; a Sunday Business story included information on testing of those bowls at a Spokane restaurant that took place before the product was improved.
