At a glance: Gonzaga Bulldogs

RECORD: 24-5 overall, 14-0 WCC

COMING UP: Sunday, semifinals of WCC tournament, 6:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Gonzaga won’t know its opponent until Saturday night. The top-seeded Bulldogs, winners of seven straight and 16 of 17, will face No. 8 Loyola Marymount, No. 5 San Diego or No. 4 Santa Clara. Gonzaga swept all three during the regular season with Santa Clara (81-73 last week) and San Diego (58-47 last week) the closest of the six meetings. GU has won the WCC tournament eight of the last 11 years and finished runner-up the other three times. Two of those losses were to San Diego teams (2003, 2008) on the Toreros’ home court. That won’t be an issue this year. For the first time in the event’s 22-year history, the tournament will be held at a neutral site – the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
