Pedestrian hit, injured on Highway 2
A pedestrian struck on Highway 2 in Airway Heights is expected to live, officials said this morning.
Craig A. Hrivnak Pate, 19, is at Deaconess Medical Center.
Pate was walking near Spoko-Fuel about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when he stepped into the left eastbound lane of the highway and was hit, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver of a 2004 Kia was not under the influence of drugs and alcohol, officials said. Loren D. Lee, 43, of Reardan has not been cited in the incident.
