Fairfield City Council – Council members discussed the upcoming sidewalk project at the Community Center, which includes handicap access and parking. The public can attend the March 17 City Council meeting to express their views on the project. Keltic Engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)

Rockford City Council – Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich was in attendance. The town is working to update its zoning map. The next yard waste chipping day has been scheduled for May 9. Spokane County Commissioner Mark Richards will host a town hall meeting at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. March 16 to discuss local issues. (Source: Town clerk)
