Arena Chiefs’ ‘house’

The Spokesman-Review

Normally I agree with what Mr. (John) Blanchette has to say. But in this case (“It ain’t the ballet …,” March 3) I don’t.

Fighting is just the culture of hockey. No matter the level. Except maybe pee wee. With nearly 3,000 Tri-City fans there, it was about establishing whose house it is. Of course, it is the Chiefs’ house. Players and fans alike wanted to let them know this. It is OK to come up here and watch your team, but make no mistake that this is Chiefs territory.

Win or lose, we are behind the team and will do what it takes to establish this.
