GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Aaron Broussard had 18 points as Seattle University beat host team North Dakota 76-59 in the championship game of the Spring Thaw tournament on Sunday.
Broussard also had six rebounds and five assists for the Redhawks (21-8), who won two of three games from the Fighting Sioux (16-12) this season.
Seattle took a 34-29 lead at halftime and never trailed again. The Redhawks shot 60 percent in the second half.
Mike Boxley scored 15 points and Chris Gweth added 14 for Seattle.
North Dakota struggled on offense, shooting just 41 percent to see its five-game winning streak come to an end.
Travis Bledsoe had 16 points and Travis Mertens 15 for UND.
