Kootenai County sheriff

Alan Smith, Spirit Lake, employee at Owens Construction Co., reported Wednesday the $1,600 theft of Caterpillar batteries from the construction site on the 2000 block of N. Pleasant View in Post Falls.

Vince Hughes, Post Falls, reported Saturday $400 damage by graffiti to a building on the 3500 block of W. Seltice Way in Coeur d’Alene.
