Traffic blocked on Mullan Road in Spokane Valley

Traffic was backed up this afternoon on Mullan Road between Main and Sprague avenues after and over-sized tractor-trailer rig broke down in the roadway. Flaggers were helping guide northbound traffic through the trouble spot while repairs to a broken draw bar were made, according to a spokeswoman at Spokane Valley City Hall. The Totran Transportation Services rig was carrying a winch and was under escort when it became disabled, she said.
