Time to think regionally

The Spokesman-Review

The River City voters spoke on spending good money on a bad idea, the (Municipal) Court building, and dumped two other ideas on dogs and property. The dog response seems to make sense as a regional reply to an ongoing problem. The property issues, albeit a regional response, raises the question of limits of what stuff we keep, for how long and in what format.

What percentage of this stored stuff results in a crime conviction, or are these banked cases, not major crimes? My own priority is to have law enforcement on the streets rather than running a warehouse unless valid results are demonstrated.

With this recent vote, community leaders, take a deep breath and start thinking about regional solutions for our regional problems.
