The Spokesman-Review
RICHLAND, Wash. — The free public tours of the Hanford nuclear reservation are all booked. Radio station KONA reports all 2,500 slots were filled Monday morning by online registration, hours after registration began. The Energy Department has scheduled 60 public tours between April and September. The five-hour bus tours include stops at the B Reactor and various environmental cleanup facilities. Visitors also see the historic Hanford and White Bluffs town sites, and the old reactors along the Columbia River.
