Bloomsday check-in continues; streets to close

Street closures: The start area downtown on Riverside Avenue between Lincoln and Post streets will close at 5 a.m. Sunday. The streets surrounding the start area close at 7 a.m., and the rest of the course closes to traffic at 8:15 a.m. The Monroe Street Bridge will close at 5:30 a.m. and the Washington couplet closes at 7 a.m. Motorists traveling north and south are encouraged to use Maple, Division or Hamilton streets. The streets in the downtown core will reopen around 11:30 a.m. and the remaining streets will reopen around 2 p.m.
