Mobile home damaged in overnight fire
An early morning house fire has displaced a north Spokane family.
Spokane Fire Department crews responded about 12:50 a.m. this morning to a mobile home at 4911 N. Florida St., where first responders reported seeing heavy smoke. Firefighters aggressively attacked the blaze, and confined it mostly to a bedroom at the back of the house, according to a news release. The rest of the home, however, sustained some smoke and heat damage, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
