Free event offers pesticide disposal

Free pesticide disposal will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Thursday at the Coeur d’Alene Transfer Station, 3650 Ramsey Road.

The event is open to homeowners, agricultural producers, dealers and applicators. The Idaho Department of Agriculture is sponsoring the event.

Up to 1,000 pounds of pesticides will be accepted per participant. Fertilizers, paint, solvents and motor oil will not be accepted.
