Ski free on Sunday

Silver Mountain plans to reopen its chairlifts Sunday for skiing and snowboarding at no charge.

The gondola in Kellogg will being uploading passengers at 7:30 a.m. Chairlifts will operate 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The free day is sponsored by Dave Smith Motors, the resort said in a press release.
