Coeur d’Alene police

Scott Burkhardt reported Tuesday the $1,117 theft of a sign at Burkhardt Consulting LLC, 120 S. Second St.

Vonnie Frane reported Monday the $2,900 theft of a purse containing cash, credit cards and personal items from her 2009 Saturn parked at Big Lots, 101 E. Appleway.

Bodi Dotson reported Tuesday the $500 theft of a laptop computer from his home on the North 1000 block of Third Street.

Christina Nadeau reported Monday the $510 theft of shoes and a purse containing cash, credit cards and personal items from her 2004 Ford Focus parked on the West 500 block of Mullan Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Richard Rutigliano, Athol, reported Wednesday the $400 theft of a chain saw from his home on the East 600 block of Remington Road.

Jerry Madsen, Post Falls, reported Tuesday $1,750 damage to three boat covers and upholstery of a 1995 Reinell boat on the South 23000 block of U.S. Highway 95 in Worley.

Jannah Simpson, employee of Walker Furniture, reported Wednesday the $349 theft of merchandise when items were purchased with an insufficient-funds check written to the business at 7224 N. Government Way.

Kidd Kaiser, co-owner of The Blue Plate Café, reported Wednesday the $300 theft of cash and $75 damage to a door of the business at 10015 N. Government Way in Hayden.
