Power restored in southeast Spokane

The lights are back on in southeast Spokane after an eletrical outage this afternoon cut power to about 1,900 customers.

Avista Utilities reported that the outage from a maintenance problem began about 2 p.m., and that power was expected back about 2:30 p.m.

The area involved was along both sides of East Eighth Avenue and southward up Carnahan Road hill, Avista said.
