The Spokesman-Review
The lights are back on in southeast Spokane after an eletrical outage this afternoon cut power to about 1,900 customers. Avista Utilities reported that the outage from a maintenance problem began about 2 p.m., and that power was expected back about 2:30 p.m. The area involved was along both sides of East Eighth Avenue and southward up Carnahan Road hill, Avista said.
