Oregon walker arrested on I-5
WOODBURN, Ore. – A 28-year-old Portland man described as unhappy about police response time to his 911 call walked onto Interstate 5 near Woodburn on Monday in an apparent attempt to get assistance more quickly.
No one was injured. Sheriff’s Lt. Sheila Lorance said the intoxicated man told officers a friend he was riding with had kicked him out of the vehicle. He called 911 and asked police to help him but wasn’t happy about how long it was taking. He was arrested.
