SPOKANE VALLEY – Thursday’s Spokane Valley Planning Commission meeting has been canceled for lack of business.

The commission’s next meeting will be Dec. 10.

Combat Vet Riders plan fund drive

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Combat Vet Riders will hold a Veterans Fund Drive at 10722 E. Sprague Ave. today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in honor of Veterans Day.

Depending on the weather, the event may feature hot rods and bikes. Information also will be available about the Combat Vet Riders and how they support veterans.

All proceeds will benefit the Kootenai County Veterans Assist Program; the Spokane homeless veterans shelter at Pioneer Victory House, 925 W. Broadway Ave.; www.Anysoldier.com; and Combat Vet Riders programs.
