McCrite, McCobey lead Cardinals

 

MUSKEGON, Mich. – Kyle McCrite and Roger McCobey each won five matches to take first place in their respective classes for the North Idaho College wrestling team at the Muskegon Open Saturday.

McCrite, the smallest Cardinal in the 125-pound class, and McCobey the biggest in the heavyweight division, were also joined atop the podium by Jesse Nielsen, who won the 165 bracket with three wins.

Five other NIC wrestlers placed in the tournament, led by Cedic Bell at 184 pounds, who took third with a 4-1 record.
