WSU loses home finale
PULLMAN — Sean Canfield threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 20 Oregon State beat Washington State 42-10 on Saturday to keep its Rose Bowl hopes alive.
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns as Oregon State (8-3, 6-2 Pac-10) won its fourth straight game and sixth of the past seven. The Beavers scored on their first three possessions and piled up 567 yards of offense while limiting Washington State to 192.
Washington State (1-10, 0-8 Pac-10) lost its eighth straight. It was the fifth consecutive game in which the Cougars have given up at least 40 points.
