Help us find the lights
There’s nothing “lite” when it comes to holiday lights.
Once again this season, folks across the region will be trying to outdo each other with the biggest, brightest outdoor decorations this side of the Vegas strip.
And once again, we’ll be publishing a list of those grandiose displays – with your help.
If you spot something particularly eye-catching, either in your neighbor’s yard (or your own) or while driving around town, we’d like to know about it.
Just go to www.spokesman.com/holidaylights, click on the “tell us about it” link and fill out the brief form.
At that same Web address, you’ll be able to see all of the addresses that have been entered so far, sort them by neighborhood – even create maps for your own personal tour.
We received a respectable number of responses last year, but we know we can do better this time around. (Yes, we’re talking about you, South Spokane and North Idaho.)
So let’s go, light brigade – charge!

The holiday lights are a wonderful tradition. I am so lucky that this year my daughter was able to help her daddy put up a beautiful display. My husband has been fighting cancer for the past 7+ years and he gets a thrill out of making people of all ages smile. Please come on by and enjoy. Happy Holidays from our house to yours. Our address is 5403 S. Ivory St. (South Spokane)
