Flags lowered for Bellevue soldier
Gov. Chris Gregoire has ordered that flags at state agencies be flown at half-staff on Thursday in memory of a Bellevue soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Specialist Joseph V. White, 21, was one of three Fort Lewis soldiers killed Thursday by a roadside bomb.
He was a member of the 5th Stryker brigade that deployed in July.
