FBI releases video of bank robber

The FBI released a video Thursday showing the robbery that took place at a northeast Spokane bank earlier this week. Police are still looking for the man who walked into the INB Bank branch at Hawthorne Road and Nevada Street Tuesday, forcing employees onto to their knees at gunpoint before bounding them with duct tape, and escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect, dressed in a costume wig and a fake mustache, also told the employees to lay on top of golf balls, telling them that they were pressure-sensitive explosives that would detonate if they got up, officials said. The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s. Wearing a gold-colored glasses with square rims, and yellow construction-type boots, said Sgt. Dave Reagan, Spokane County Sheriff’s spokesman. In addition to the false mustache and blonde wig, the suspect was wearing a purple and gold hooded poncho with a large front pocket with the word “Stussy” printed in white. The FBI is leading the investigation, with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Office, Reagan said. Anyone with information about the robbery should call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
