Allen’s approach good for city

The Spokesman-Review

The choice to be made by voters in the Spokane City Council election for District 2 is fraught with lasting consequences for Spokane.

Councilman Mike Allen has steadily advocated policies that will foster growth of existing businesses and lead to increased entrepreneurial activity. He has developed an action plan that will improve funding for the rebuilding of Spokane streets. His collegial approach to working with other members of the Council has enhanced the civility of the process of doing the people’s business.

If Mike is re-elected, his fiscally conservative approach to budget issues will benefit taxpayers for years. The leadership ability he has demonstrated during his two years on the council make the choice clear for voters: Retain Mike Allen for City Council.
