Valley coffee stand robbed at knife point
A man robbed a Spokane Valley coffee stand at knife point Saturday.
The man and a woman had been hanging around the Higher Ground Espresso, 7415 E Sprague Ave., before the man pulled a knife on the employee about 7 p.m., according to the Spokane Valley Police Department.
He ran north on Park Road with an undisclosed amount of cash. The woman ran in a different direction.
The man is described as white, about 6-foot-2, “very skinny,” with blue eyes wearing blue jeans and a Washington State University sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, said Sgt. Dave Reagan.
