The Americans (3-2, six points) took a 1-0 lead 6 minutes, 31 seconds into the match on a goal by Jordan Messier – the first of their three power-play tallies.

Spokane (2-2-1, five points) pulled even at the 16:28 mark of the first period on a power-play goal by Levko Koper.

Tri-City took the lead for good just 21 seconds later on Feser’s first score of the night.
