Weber State at EWU

KICKOFF: 12:35 p.m. at Woodward Stadium

Records: Weber State 2-3, 2-1 Big Sky; EWU 4-1, 3-0

Radio: 1510-AM

Overview: After winning its first three Big Sky games over opponents with a combined record of 2-12, 14th-ranked Eastern gets a chance to test itself against one of the league’s elite programs. The defending BSC regular-season co-champion Wildcats were ranked No. 11 prior to stubbing their toe in last weekend’s 26-21 loss that head coach Ron McBride called “stupid.” Weber features the conference’s reigning offensive player of the year in junior quarterback Cameron Higgins, who has thrown for 1,584 yards and 14 touchdowns this fall, and one of the conference’s all-time best running backs in senior Trevyn Smith, who ranks third in the Big Sky with a rushing average of 105 yards per game.
