More Idaho schools close because of flu
Some schools in Post Falls and Horseshoe Bend, near Boise, have canceled classes because of a flu outbreak.
Principal Kim Young with the CornerStone Christian Academy in Post Falls says her school closed after half of its staff and nearly a third of students stayed home sick Thursday. Young says the school will be sterilized and will reopen Monday.
More than half the teachers in the Horseshoe Bend School District near Boise were also out sick, prompting Superintendent John Cook to shut down the district’s three schools until Monday.
