Fire bonds necessary

The Spokesman-Review

As a long-term resident of Spokane, I am writing today to express my sincere hope that you will act on behalf of the best interests of your constituents by arguing and, ultimately, voting in favor of Proposition 1 – fire bonds.

I have appreciated the integrity and conviction of the Spokane Fire Department and their relentless pursuit for guaranteeing our safety. Without the financial support of the bonds, they cannot perform their mission, which directly affects my family, my neighbors and our community as a whole.

For Spokane’s survival and the safety of the citizens, I strongly urge you to vote yes on Proposition 1, fire bonds.

Mary Ann Frandsen
