In brief: Choral concert aids food bank

COEUR D’ALENE – The North Idaho College Concert Choir, NIC Madrigal Singers and Jazz Co. choir will perform in the Fall Chorale Preview today at the Coeur d’Alene First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside Ave. in Coeur d’Alene, at 3 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations for the Community Action Partnership food bank are appreciated.

Wii game night planned for adults

POST FALLS – The Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane St., will hold Wii for Adults on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wii games include Beatles Rock Band and bowling.

The evening is for participants age 30 and older.

Flashlights given to deputies

COEUR D’ALENE – The city of Dalton Gardens recently donated $7,200 worth of flashlights and belt holders to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department to keep the officers safer in their patrol duties.

These flashlights are small and easy to carry.
