Northern Colorado 30, Idaho State 7: Quarterback Bryan Waggener completed 24 of 42 attempts for 212 yards and a touchdown, as well as rushing for another score, and the Bears (2-5, 1-4) beat the Bengals (0-7, 0-4) at Pocatello, Idaho.

On the second play of overtime, on second-and-21 following a penalty, Kempt found Elvis Akpla open behind the defense for the score. South Dakota then drove to MSU’s 3-yard line when, on fourth down, quarterback Noah Shepard found Dan Skelly uncovered in the end zone, but the pass bounced off his hands to end the game.
