Auditions

Spokane Youth Ballet Scholarship – For boys ages 10-15 interested in studying ballet, the scholarship will supply all training and performing fees for the 2009-2010 season. “Plein Air in the Palouse” – Oil painting workshops for beginning to intermediate students; advanced painters also welcome. Call for musicians

Washington Idaho Symphony Young Artist Competition – Open to Pacific Northwest instrumentalists and vocalists age 14 to 30. Semifinalists will be selected from submitted CDs of their performances; entry deadline is Nov. 2. Registration fee is $35. Winners will be selected at the Young Artists Competition on Dec. 5 and will perform with the orchestra on Jan. 30-31. (509) 332-3408
