Highway 291 reopens after head-on wreck

State Highway 291 has reopened just south of Suncrest, following a head-on crash that shut down traffic in both directions for an hour, police said.
The Washington State Patrol said the crash occurred about 8 p.m. at milepost 12 in Stevens County.
WSP said alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash, but further details were not immediately available.
