Snyder’s smart, independent

The Spokesman-Review

Read the fine print on the Mike Allen for City Council campaign mailer you’ve recently received. It was paid for by the Realtors Quality of Life PAC, a real estate organization out of Olympia. This special-interest group has poured over $17,400 into this Allen campaign literature in an attempt to persuade our local voters that Mr. Allen is the best person to represent us.

I think not. The acceptance of this massive dump of money into Allen’s campaign signals that Mike has sold out to development special interests. He will be their representative, not ours.

No one can truly believe an organization puts this kind of money into a City Council race without expecting favorable votes in return. To add insult to injury, the mailer was printed by a West Side printer. So much for supporting local Spokane businesses.

Jon Snyder has done the hard work of campaigning and raising money the “old fashioned way” – $50 at a time at neighborhood backyard house parties. He’s independent, smart and not about to be swayed by special interest money.

Mark your ballot for Jon Snyder and mail it today. Your vote is critical to our way of life in District 2.
