Highs to high upper 80s this week

Look for summer-like conditions during the day this week as temperatures reach the upper 80s by the weekend.

Nighttime temperatures are expected in the 40s and lower 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Today’s high should hit 72 in Spokane and 70 in Coeur d’Alene, with nighttime temperatures at 45 and 41.

Wednesday should be partly sunny in both cities with a high near 78 in Spokane and 76 in Coeur d’Alene.

Spokane should see a low of 49 Wednesday night, with 47 expected in Coeur d’Alene.

Thursday’s high is expected at 78 in both cities, followed by a low of 49 in Spokane and 47 in Coeur d’Alene.

Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 84 in Spokane and 83 in Coeur d’Alene.

Saturday is predicted to be sunny with a high near 88 expected in Spokane and 84 in Coeur d’Alene.
