New Faces

Aronson Security Group has hired Kyle Kayler as an account executive for Eastern Washington. He has more than 15 years of related experience and previously worked for a North American security systems reseller as a national accounts manager.

Valaurie Caprez has been hired as a vice president and loan servicing manager for Inland Northwest Bank. She has more than 20 years of related experience.

Post Falls Optometric Physicians has hired Dr. Laura Fischer as an optometrist specializing in pediatric vision exams and the medical treatment of glaucoma. She is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry.

Heather Harrison has been hired by Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education Inc. as a Finally Home! homebuyer education/counseling administrator. She previously worked as executive officer for the Nampa Association of Realtors and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology from the University of Montana.

NAC Architecture has hired Pamella Estes as front office supervisor for the firm’s Spokane office. She previously worked as regional manager for People to People Ambassador Programs.

Promotions

Barry Brooks has been promoted to director of academic affairs for the University of Phoenix’s Eastern Washington campus. He previously served as associate director of academic affairs and has been with the university for more than five years. The university has also promoted Kylene Lloyd from operations and finance manager to director of student and financial services. She has been with the university since 2005.

Itron has received the 2009 Frost and Sullivan Product Quality Leadership of the Year award for its contribution to the North American advanced metering infrastructure market.

Rex and Barbara Reed, owners of the Sir Speedy in Spokane, have received the Sir Speedy Century Club Award. The award recognizes the top 100 franchises by sales.

The Cannon Financial Institute has awarded Thomas Gibson with a Certified Wealth Strategist designation. Gibson serves as vice president and senior financial consultant for D.A. Davidson and Co. in Sandpoint.

Kelly Hylton has been named General Manager of the Year by the Chuck E. Cheese franchise. She works as general manager of the Spokane Valley Chuck E. Cheese and has been with the company for 25 years.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has inducted Dr. Roger Cooke and Sharon Looney into its Volunteer Hall of Fame. Cooke serves as medical director of Providence Holy Family MS Center and Looney has been an active volunteer for the past 20 years.

Elected

The following individuals have been elected to serve as members of the Spokane Guilds’ School Foundation’s board of trustees executive committee for 2009-10: president, Jim Powers of Century 21 Beutler and Associates; vice presidents, Patrick Maguire, retired food broker, and Dennis Kelly of Zip’s Drive In; treasurer, Rick Melanson of D.A. Davidson and Co.; secretary, Sandy Alderman of Tomlinson Real Estate – North.

Max Faller has been elected as treasurer of the Idaho Bankers Association’s 2009-10 board of directors. Faller serves as president and CEO of Bank Cda in Coeur d’Alene.
