Richard Vaniderstine, owner of Bates Motel, reported Thursday the $1,000 theft of tools from the business at 2018 E. Sherman Ave.

Susan Chambers reported Thursday the $264 theft of CDs and personal items and $200 damage to a window and lock of her 1991 Toyota Celica parked at her home on the 200 block of East Indiana Avenue.

Anthony Hert, employee of Patriot Fire Protection, reported Friday the $950 theft of a back-flow water test kit from a 2007 Chevrolet pickup parked at Jackpot Food Mart, 1801 Northwest Boulevard.

Kootenai County sheriff

David Powell, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday $500 damage to a windshield of a 1987 Subaru parked on the 1200 block of East Highwood Lane.

Peter Hawk, Hayden Lake, reported Monday the $1,485 theft of tools from his home on the 11000 block of North Eastshore Drive.
