Some cyclists overlooked

The Spokesman-Review

Upon receiving my paper on Monday morning, I was disappointed and dismayed to find two articles about SpokeFest and nothing on a lesser known, lesser promoted bike event that also took place this past weekend.

The BikeMS event took place over two days on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes – almost 150 miles of cycling, with almost 200 cyclists from all over the Northwest out to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis (a disease that affects so many in our area). It would have been nice to see something in your publication to help bring awareness to the cause.
