Auditions

“The Nutcracker” – For this year’s Ballet Memphis production with the Spokane Symphony, Friday, 5-7:30 p.m., Ballet Arts Academy, 109 W. Pacific Ave. Open to dancers ages 8 and older with at least three years experience. Auditions for non-pointe roles are 5-6:15 p.m.; auditions for boys are 6:15-6:45 p.m.; and auditions for pointe roles are 6:45-7:30 p.m. Arrive 45 minutes early to complete paperwork. Cost is $12. Regional Juried Watermedia Exhibition – Open to all watermedia artists. Entries must be delivered to the Pullman Gallery, Market Square Building, 107 S. Grand Ave., Pullman, on Saturday. Violence Awareness Month Art Contest – For Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Lutheran Community Services is organizing an art contest focusing on the impact of domestic violence on children and teens.
