We can afford this

The Spokesman-Review

It’s signed into law and now they want to repeal it? Because we can’t afford it?

I’ll tell what we can’t afford: a war in Iraq!

We can’t afford a war in Afghanistan!

We can’t afford tax breaks for the richest 2 percent!

We can’t afford sweetheart deals for Medicare Part D drug deals!

We can’t afford to give big oil tax breaks!

We can’t afford to give the Israelis $12 billion a year and have them build settlements anyway!

Yes, we can afford health care. It’s our right!
