Celebrity dancing will support CYT-Spokane

Christian Youth Theater-Spokane will host the third annual “Dancing with the Celebrities” on April 24 at the Bing Crosby Theatre, 901 W. Sprague Ave., at 6 p.m.

Local celebrities have come together with professional dance instructors in this performance to benefit CYT-Spokane’s theater arts training program for children ages 6 to 18.

Attendees of the production can vote for their favorite dancers or performance by donating money to the show; every dollar equals one vote.

Local celebrities performing will include Tania Dall of KXLY; Stephanie Vigil of KHQ; Dave Erickson of KXLY; Dave Sposito of KZZU; Jennifer DeRuwe of the Spokane Police Department; Sherry Maughan of Sacred Heart Medical Center; Sheila Geraghty of the Salvation Army; Kristine Lyons of the Junior League; Isaac Anderson of the Spokane Fire Department; Shaun O’L Higgins of The Spokesman Review; and George Rohlinger, the 2009 champion.

Cost for the semiformal event is $15 for standard seating and $25 for premier seating. Tickets may be purchased at www.cytspokane.com or at (509) 487-6540.
