Police looking for carjacker

Spokane police this morning are asking for help finding a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville and a carjacker who took it at gunpoint from a woman driving in East Central Spokane on Thursday night. Police said the woman was at First Avenue and Stone Street about 11 p.m. when she was approached by a man who displayed a gun and ordered her out of the vehicle. When she got out, the suspect jumped in and drove away. The carjacker is described as white, short and thin and in his 20s. He was clean-shaven and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. The car is green and has a Washington plate of 491ZDR. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.
