Barb Richey has been hired as director of marketing for Spokane Teachers Credit Union. She previously worked for Portland Pacific University and Eastern Washington University and has 13 years of marketing and communications experience.

Bank of America Home Loans has hired Laura Wells as a mortgage loan officer for Spokane and the greater Inland Northwest area. She has almost 20 years of experience working in the home finance industry.

The Inland Northwest chapter of the American Red Cross has hired Terrence Pollard as CEO. He previously worked as the South Region executive for the YMCA of Greater Seattle and had been with the organization for 22 years.

Promotions

Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation has promoted K. Leon Hardy to senior vice president of operations. He previously served as senior vice president of North American operations and has been with the company since 2003.

Marva Ulleland has been promoted from manager of insurance services for the small grains region of Eastern Washington to regional vice president of insurance services for Northwest Farm Credit Services. She has been with the company since 2007.

Kudos

The Bonneville Power Administration Administrator’s Excellence Awards program has presented Mike Ayers of Colbert with its Community Outreach Award for his volunteer work with the Inland Northwest Blood Center. Ayers is a chief substation operator for BPA.

Grant Morgan has membership in Verizon Wireless’ President’s Cabinet for ranking in the top 1 percent nationally in sales during 2009. Morgan works as a Verizon Wireless retail sales manager in Spokane.

Dr. Monika Gottlieb has been inducted into the Society of Hospital Medicine’s inaugural class of senior fellows. Gottlieb is a hospitalist at Kootenai Medical Center.

Inland Imaging has been named as one of five “Top Women’s Imaging Centers to Watch in 2010” in the latest issue of Imaging Technology News.

The Washington Music Educators Association presented Jaime McLeod with its Friends of Music Award for her work with Spokane Public Schools, servicing pianos in area schools. McLeod works as a contract tuner for Music City.

The National Precast Concrete Association presented Wilbert Precast with a Pinnacle Award in the production category for the company’s manhole measuring device and a first place award in the marketing/management category for its plant maintenance schedule during the association’s 2010 National Precast Show in Phoenix.

BHW1 advertising agency received three best-of-division, six gold and eight silver ADDY Awards during the 2010 Spokane ADDY Awards competition.

The Health Sciences and Services Authority of Spokane County has appointed Dr. Kelsey Gray of Spectrum Group LLC to serve a two-year term on its board of directors and Mari Thomas, a former researcher and wife of Fairchild Air Force Base Commander Robert Thomas, to serve a four-year term.
