Loving Your Family – Feeding Their Future – University of Idaho Extension Nutrition Program is offering free weekly classes, Tuesdays in April, at 1 p.m. at Kootenai County Extension Office, 1808 N. Third St., Coeur d’Alene. Classes, taught by trained extension nutrition advisers, are offered to recipients of food stamps or other Health and Welfare programs or school free-lunch programs and will cover family meals, vegetables and fruits, how much food and physical activity, and active and fun family time. Natural Childbirth – Class for those planning a nonmedicated birth. Free Spot Checks – Kootenai Cancer Center is hosting free community skin cancer screenings available by appointment on April 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Interlake Medical Building, 700 Ironwood Drive, Coeur d’Alene.
