Community Fun Run - Sponsored by the Arc of Spokane and Washington Parks Department. Open to people of all abilities, the run is a virtually flat, out-and-back 3-mile course on the Centennial Trail next to the beautiful Spokane River. Beginning at the trail near CenterPlace, runners will proceed east for 1.5 miles, turn at Sullivan Road and run back. Water is available at the turnaround and finish lines. Spokane Valley Heritage Museum – New exhibits are “On a Wing & a Prayer,” with Felts Field and local aviation history including the Washington Air National Guard, and “Visionary Women,” women who shaped the history of the Spokane Valley.
