One more out the window

Etheridge
From Wire Reports

Rocker Melissa Etheridge and her partner, actress Tammy Lynn Michaels Etheridge, have announced their separation.

In a statement Thursday, they asked for “consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult period.”

They held a commitment ceremony in Malibu in 2003.

Tammy, 35, gave birth to twins – son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose – in 2006. The couple used an anonymous donor from a sperm bank.

The 48-year-old singer shares custody of daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett with former partner Julie Cypher. Musician David Crosby was the sperm donor for those children, who were delivered by Cypher.

King loses another queen

As you also probably have heard by now, Larry King has called it quits with his seventh wife after neary 13 years.

The 76-year-old CNN host filed for divorce hours before Shawn King filed her own petition. Both cited “irreconcilable differences.”

The couple were married in a hospital room in 1997 three days before he underwent surgery to clear a clogged blood vessel. They have two sons, 11 and 9.

Repelling the poison

Bret Michaels is recovering from his emergency appendectomy at a private care facility for diabetics.

A statement posted on the 47-year-old rocker’s Web site says doctors are optimistic that Michaels, former frontman for ’80s hair band Poison, will make a full recovery.
