Politics sullied good event

The Spokesman-Review

I just finished participating in the Susan G. Komen run/walk, and it was a great event with 8,800 supporters. There was, however, something that I found totally appalling.

There were two people with their campaign signs, one at curbside and one walking the route carrying the campaign sign. I believe this demonstrated the greatest disrespect and tackiness that I have experienced in a very long time.

These people took an opportunity to exploit the event in an effort for exposure to a large audience. This is politics at its worst and I wouldn’t vote for the candidates on those placards, as they represent the lowest of low.
