March for Babies collects $100,000
An annual March of Dimes fundraising walk in Spokane on Saturday collected more than $100,000 for the nonprofit agency, which benefits pregnancy-care and baby-health programs.
Nearly 1,000 people took part in the March for Babies, according to a news release Tuesday.
Local sponsors of the walk included Avista, United Healthcare, Bank of America, Northwest Farm Credit, Premera, Providence Medical Center, Northern Quest Casino, Wells Fargo and Kidds Dental.
