SHADLE – The annual Shadle Park Alumni Golf Tournament will be held on May 8 at 8 a.m. at Downriver Golf Course.

Free gardening class offered

MANITO – “Through the Year with Color and Interest” will be held at the Manito meeting room just east of the Gaiser Conservatory on Friday at 1 p.m.

The free class will provide participants with information on creating a garden full of color with blooming annuals and perennials, along with a diverse mixture of trees, shrubs and vines to give gardens colorful foliage, flowers, berries, winter structure, textures and patterns.

The class is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
