The sun is expected to shine on the Bloomsday fun run, but other than that the forecast is packed with clouds and wet weather.

Today, there’s a 30 percent chance of precipitation after 11 a.m. and clouds will continue to dominate the sky, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be below normal with a high of 57. A low of 39 is expected tonight. Normal highs are low 60s for this time of year.

A slight chance of showers is again forecast for Saturday with highs in the mid-50s and lows in the 30s, according to the Weather Service.

Spokane’s brief dry spell starts Saturday night and is expected to continue for about 24 hours.

After a partly sunny Sunday, the chance of showers and clouds return Sunday night and are expected to stick around through next week.
