Sun expected for Bloomsday fun run

The sun is expected to shine on the Bloomsday fun run, but other than that the forecast is packed with clouds and wet weather. Today, there’s a 30 percent chance of precipitation after 11 a.m. and clouds will continue to dominate the sky, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be below normal with a high of 57. A low of 39 is expected tonight. Normal highs are low 60s for this time of year. A slight chance of showers is again forecast for Saturday with highs in the mid-50s and lows in the 30s, according to the Weather Service. Spokane’s brief dry spell starts Saturday night and is expected to continue for about 24 hours. After a partly sunny Sunday, the chance of showers and clouds return Sunday night and are expected to stick around through next week.
